PAKISTAN: God has answered our prayers that the 29 year old student, Mr H, whom we have prayed for previously, now has his heart surgery scheduled for this Saturday, July 11th. Please ask God to guide the surgeon's hands, and for the complete success of the operation - a full restoration of blood flow to the heart. Thank you.

From July 16 - July 28, Cheryl Jenkins will be in Guatemala on a short-term mission trip. During the first week, Candie and her will develop a dental brigade in two communities in Guatemala City. The expectation is to have 100 people coming to the clinics for extractions and fillings. Please pray for both, two other dentists participating and all the planning work needed.

The second week, Cheryl & Candie will be visiting, chating with various students in Guatemala, El Salvador. We'll develop: (1) a f-2-f session with Leadership Ministry students in Garbage City, and (2) two evangelistic activities for Women with Salvadoran churches (where 2 students work as pastors). Please pray for safe driving, wisdom, strength as we prepare all this trip.

My upcoming trip to a leadership retreat in Bogotá, Colombia Monday, July 13 - Thursday, July 16. I will be participating with a group of South American leaders about "rethinking" and proposing strategies for training pastors in the Spanish Speaking continent. This is an open door to share iTEE University, and more so, how to contribute in order to make disculpe makers.

Recently, I asked your prayers for José Miguel & Dámaris Orozco. They are facing challenging times due to Dylan's (5 year old son) diagnosis of Autism Level 2. Both parents have collected all information requested by the neurologist and waiting for a response for medical treatment.

Please continue praying with them.

Our general funds are dry, and we are seriously underfunded to do what we need to do. Pray that God provides to make up the slack and bring in plenty to fulfill His call on iTEE Global.

This past week, God graciously provided the funds needed for the MENA project at the Morocco Workshop this August. This was a special grace of the Lord to provide now, as facilities that were safe and very private needed to be rented now in order to meet in August.

There will be iTEE University students who are pastors and leaders from 4 MENA countries for five days. Mark and Michele Engel and Chandee Ulch (our intern) are going there to serve our brothers and sisters.

Williams Family

My Daughter and her family are mentioned previously. This is an update. Thank you for your prayers. They are so needed. This past week was especially difficult, but God gave grace. Both vehicles that accommodate my grandson Elijah's wheelchair were in the shop at the same time. Needless to say, this is a problem. Also, Elijah's wheelchair broke, and insurance will replace it, but only in five weeks. A wheelchair was temporarily found, but it is also broken, and prayer is keeping it still usable.

Most often, I am sharing prayer requests for our students and co-workers, and sometimes for Linda and me. Today, I want to share a request from my daughter. She and her family desperately need God's intervention. The note will be self-explanatory. It is lengthy, but purposefully for those who will pray.

Letter from Aimeé Williams our oldest daughter.

-------------------

I need to be a little vulnerable and open right now. This may be a long post so feel free to skip if you need to.

I’m a special needs mama and I love being my children’s mom. Each and every one of them is a gift, a treasure that I wouldn’t trade for the world. Loving them like I do doesn’t necessarily make daily life easier instead I would argue it’s actually harder. Harder because you hurt every time they hurt. You want answers but there aren’t. You need support because you want to what’s best for them but it just isn’t out there. So you carry it. Often very isolated because others do not truly understand. It’s not a judgment it’s a reality, it’s the reality of most SN parents. Why do I share all this? Because of what has been happening these last few weeks needs to be acknowledged and the glory given to God.

Many of you know by now we are moving. We have been hit with setbacks by setbacks. We have been living half moved half stuck for the last month. It’s very hard on all of us but especially our neurodivergent members.

You may also know that our main transportation (accessible van) for our oldest child broke down a few weeks ago. We still don’t have it back. Then his his wheelchair, which has been falling apart for a while finally broke in a way we couldn’t patch it up. Things just keep falling off/breaking. Right now all that is holding that chair to together is prayer.

So house, van, wheelchair, etc…. Seems like a lot. Yes, it is! I am going to be honest and say I was hitting rock bottom this past week. Eric and I are beyond exhausted. Mentally, physically, emotionally, it’s all at the bottom. My anxiety and my fears were spiraling and breaths away from a breakdown. That is where I have been. Trying to keep everything together for everyone. Keeping things regulated for those who need it, keep others physically safe, trying to keep my own self safe and it’s not sustainable.

This is where God gets all the glory. I was doing laundry, when am I not, and in tears and God’s Word came to me. The Lord is my strength and my refuge, The Lord is my shield and my defender, The Lord gives strength to the weary … and more. I clung and I mean clung to those promises. Did every thing get better? No. I am still exhausted and overwhelmed, but I am reminded that I am not doing this in my own strength. I love the children’s song Jesus Loves Me because HE is Strong when I am weak.

It’s not over I heard two not one sermons yesterday that brought not only conviction but also encouragement. (Thanks TW Davis and Steve Cullum) God had been hearing my prayers and He was always there. He brought a few conversation with friends and messages from His Word and sermons to remind me of His goodness and His faithfulness. I am by far from over this trial and season in life but I will choose to remember God’s faithfulness. I will choose to be vulnerable and allow God to use me and use others for His Glory.

Can you help? Yes, please pray! I kid you not knowing that many were praying and reaching out telling me were praying kept me going. Also if anyone wants to bring a home cooked meal in the next day or two (we leave Wednesday for camp), I won’t say no. We have packed up most of our kitchen and won’t even have a table after today. If anyone wants to come over and help entertain the boys tomorrow (Tuesday) or help with the end of packing or cleaning I won’t say no.

Here are some praises: 1) we should have a working loaner chair for Elijah tomorrow afternoon. 2) even with all the added stress, loss of sleep, and not great eating the last few months Eric and I have been healthy. 3) even though we won’t have our van in time, we have found a way to use our other vehicle to get to camp.

If you have stayed and read the whole post, thank you. Thanks for praying!

Praise the Lord for providing an HR director and a team of volunteers to assist. Pray for meetings that Beverly, Stan, and George will have this week to review HR and plan for the future of this important part of our ministry. Please continue to pray for these individuals who are suffering and need God's healing hand. They continue to serve the Lord even though they are in pain.

Philip Ansari (six attempts so far by the hospital to do surgery). So far, every attempt has failed. Philip is discouraged, and time is running out.

Noura is our Arabic translator and migration specialist. Continued pain after back surgery.

Jabran is our Arabic translator and migration specialist—healing of the jaw.

Mark, our Muslim World director. Kidney stone attack last week. Has not been able to pass it. Doctors are considering options.

Praise the Lord for His constant and faithful provision for the ministry. Last week, the Lord supplied enough funds (only eight days after starting the fundraising project) to ensure that our MENA team will be able to conduct the evangelism and apologetics workshop, which includes leaders from three different North African countries. While most of the funds are in, and James and Mark are fairly sure the workshop planning and logistics can move forward, about $3,000 is still needed. The brothers in MENA are planning to raise those funds. Pray that God will powerfully provide for them!

Please pray for Alfreno Duffene who ministers in Haiti serving as a pastor and working to help meet daily needs in a refugee camp. He has connected with iTEE and tried to take courses, but with very limited internet, and constant turmoil in Haiti, it has been too much. They are in need of food and basic resources to feed people and then have opportunities to share the Gospel. They receive some support through a state side ministry, but the needs are great and continual. Pray they will be able to get the resources that are needed and that they would find encouragement and hope through Jesus.
